I was an outlier as a consultant – experimenting with different strategies to win business and vehicles for delivery.
I was selling retainers on low level finance roles and packaging projects to build teams when everyone else around me was pushing contingent services in competition with other agencies.
You know all too well the objections that recruiters encounter. Objections from clients, prospects, candidates and, sometimes, even our colleagues.
And it can be frustrating – because deep down you believe you’re better than their objection suggests. Right now, objections are on the rise. Thrown out quicker and with more enthusiasm because people are time pressed. Feeling harangued by recruiters.
